Dr Moon performs emergency dental work including crowns, root canals, extractions (including wisdom teeth), grafting and implants, and more. We’ll fit you in ASAP, will come up with options that fit your goals and needs, and will get you out of pain.
Root Canals
Sometimes to save a tooth we need to treat the nerve deep inside the tooth. This often is necessary with deep cavities, cracked teeth, and dental abscesses. We are able to get you numb so you don’t feel anything, we clean out the inside of the tooth, and put some medicine inside the tooth. Root canals often take 1-2 visits, and when complete often need a crown to seal up the tooth and protect it.
Teeth Extractions
Sometimes it’s just time to say good bye to a bad tooth. Dr Moon can do most extractions. Wisdom teeth, baby teeth, root canaled teeth…
And don’t worry…He’s gentle. We have sedations options available too like laughing gas (nitrous oxide) and oral sedation.
Preparation for Tooth Implant with bone graft
If you decide that you’d like to replace the tooth with an implant we’ll discuss the necessary steps and see if you’re a good candidate.
Sometimes an implant can be placed at the time of extraction while you’re already numb. Other times its necessary to add bone graft material to preserve the dimensions of the bone and let the area heal for a few months before an implant can be placed.
